Ellewynn (She/Her) is thrilled to be participating in her third Arts in the Open adventure! Past productions with Arts in the Open include Jack and Beanstalk (Jack), and Cinderella & Her Barely Godmother (Evil Stepmother). She is honored to be working under the direction of Patti Murtha. Ellewynn would like to thank this talented cast for their support and playfulness! Life is good 😊

Elliot is excited to be a part of his third show with Arts in the Open! He is a Denver native and graduate of the University of Denver. Recent credits include Zeus/etc. in Myth Adventures and Aurora/Stumple/etc. in A Superhero Tale (Arts in the Open), Fogg in Sweeny Todd (Stagedoor), Sen. Fipp in Urinetown, Edouard Dindon/ Mssr. Renaud in La Cage aux Folles, Gov. Roosevelt/ Nunzio in Newsies (Littleton Town Hall Arts Center), Paul in Moon over Buffalo, Jane/Edger in The Mystery of Irma Vepp (Longmont Theater Company), and Mr. Lundie/ Sandy in Brigadoon (Candlelight). Tess James
Marusia, Ensemble.
Tess returns to Arts in the Open for the sixth time, and is incredibly excited to work with another amazing group of people! Previous AO credits include: White Rabbit/Cheshire Cat/Frog in Alice in Wonderland, Hades/Hermes/Helios in Myth Adventures, Stage Manager for A Superhero Tale, Father/Professor/Walton in Frankenstein, and Dr. Seward in Dracula: The Death of Nosferatu!
Lucas Reilly
Madoc, Ensemble
Lucas (he/him/él) is excited to be joining Arts in the Open for the first time this fall! Actor, writer, dramaturg, and non-profit administrator, he loves telling stories and connecting communities with culture, education, and entertainment. When not on stage or behind the scenes with Colorado's amazing cultural organizations (Arvada Center, Denver Museum of Nature & Science), Lucas relishes traveling with his partner, Annie, and curling up together with their two cats. BFA, Webster Conservatory.
Michelle Schovaers Wagley
Grandma, Ensemble
Michelle is excited to return to Arts in the Open for the 3rd time! She was seen in Myth Adventures, as well as Mina in Dracula. Other acting credits include: Muleteer/Ensemble in Man of La Mancha (Colorado); Mrs. Shin in Good Person of Szechwan (Japan); Corrie Brater in Barefoot in the Park (Texas); Sister James in Doubt (Texas); Rebecca Hilliker/Ensemble in The Laramie Project (Texas); Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing (Texas); Sermon Head in Bed (England). She would like to thank everyone for their friendship and for Patti and Matt letting her play again. Love to you Steven!
Patti Murtha
Playwright, Director
Patti (she/her) feels it is appropriate that her 13th production with this company involves witches. Shows she's written and/or directed include Myth Adventures, The Frog Princess, Cinderella and Her Barely Godmother, and The Oddest Sea. She's also been seen on our "stage" in shows such as The Three Little Pigs VS the Apocalypse and Alice in Wonderland. Patti works regularly as a Crisis Intervention Training role player, and she studied acting at Mason Gross School of the Arts (Rutgers University) and the Maggie Flanigan Studio in NYC. She is a master ensemble theater teacher and spends much of her time making mud functional. Love to Damian!
Natalie Loring
Stage Manager
Natalie is a Denver-based stage manager, dresser, and theatrical generalist. Natalie graduated from MSU Denver with a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology, and researched intimacy choreography for her honors thesis. She is very excited to work with Arts in the Open for the first time on Wicked Wanderings. Natalie would like to thank her partner, her family, and the many women who support her and have her back. Recent technical credits include: Scenic Artist - Shrek Jr (Northglenn Youth Theatre), Assistant Stage Manager - The Prom (Town Hall Arts Center), Dresser - Natasha Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 (Arvada Center). Onward with joy!
Deidre Knight
Costume & Props Designer
Deidre has been in the theatre world since age 5. They have performed in over 30 plays/musicals, and have been the Costumer for 13 productions. You might recognize Deidre from playing Eastwood in The Three Little Pigs Vs The Apocalypse with Arts In the Open in 2022. Deidre is excited to be making their Arts In The Open Costuming debut with Wicked Wanderings!
