Elliot Clough

Elliot (he/him) is thrilled to join this awesome company for a fun summer! He is a Denver native and graduate of the University of Denver. Recent credits include Edouard Dindon/ Mssr. Renaud in La Cage aux Folles, Gov. Roosevelt / Nunzio in Newsies (Littleton Townhall Arts Center), Jane/Edger in The Mystery of Irma Vepp (Longmont Theater Company), Mr. Lundie/ Sandy in Brigadoon, Mssr. Genevieve Moreland

Rory, Customer, Student

Genevieve (She/Her) is so excited to be back at Chautauqua performing with Arts in the Open this summer!  She is a CU Boulder alum and some favorite past roles include Mrs. Drudge in The Real Inspector Hound and Melissa in The Christmas Spirit.


Brittany Pollard

Kit, Student, Clerk

Brittany (She/Her) is incredibly excited to being joining Arts in the Open for another season! She graduated with her theatre degree from Adams State University in 2018, and has kept herself busy with plenty of summertime theatre since. Last summer, she had fun with Arts in the Open playing Lily in The Frog Princess and Dr. Lancaster in The Three Little Pigs vs. The Apocalypse. Brittany is very excited to be spending another summer on the mountain with all the wonderful friends she's made over the last 2 summers. See you on the trail! 

Caleb Stuart

Simon

Caleb (He/Him) is thrilled to be playing Simon in A Superhero Tale. Caleb graduated in the Spring of 2023 with his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting from the University of Colorado Boulder. An avid lover of the outdoors, Caleb can often be found hiking the many trails that Chautauqua Park has to offer, when he is not performing on them. Caleb would like to thank his friends and family for their constant support and love.

Quentin Toetz

Frankie, Customer, Clerk

Quentin (He/Him) is excited to be a part of his 3rd Arts in the Open show! Originally from Indiana he has been in Colorado for the past 7 years working as an actor doing stage shows, TV commercials, indie films, and as a CIT (Crisis Intervention Training) role player. He is a self proclaimed nerd who enjoys playing tabletop games, card games, and videogames in his free time. His favorite DC superhero is the Green Lantern (Guy Gardner) and his favorite Marvel superhero is Spiderman (Peter Parker)

Tess James

Stage Manager, Beam of Light

Tess is excited to be returning to Arts in the Open as the Stage Manager for A Superhero Tale! Previous credits include Dracula: The Death of Nosferatu, and Frankenstein, both with Arts in the Open. You may also see Tess again later this summer in Myth Adventures.

Ryn Gorogan

Costume & Props Designer

Ryn (They/Them) is a costume designer and performance artist, creating costumes previously for the Rocky Horror Picture Show, and the Little Shop of Horrors.  They perform in shadowcasts and local variety shows.  This will be their first show designing props and costumes for Arts in the Open.

Matthew Davis

Director/Artistic Director

Since moving back to Denver, Matthew (He/Him) has directed and choreographed for theaters in the area. He has been privileged to perform with The National Theater for Children, touring schools with educational theater productions and continues to perform in Denver and the surrounding areas. During the day he is a teacher librarian and STEAM teacher at a Denver elementary school. He has had the pleasure of working as the Artistic Director with Arts in the Open for the past 12 years. He would like to thank the cast and crew for making this show a wonderful experience. He loves living the #Beamlife.
