Steven Hartman
(he/him)
Goat/Others
Steven is stoked to be back at Arts in the Open after 5 crazy years! In that time he has had the pleasure of graduating MSU Denver and working all over the Denver Metro Area. His most recent notable role was Robbie Hart in Northglenn Players production of The Wedding Singer. Steven is ready to be back to performing after a very long hiatus. Where better to get back into my favorite thing than with this wonderful company in beautiful Chautauqua!
Brittany Pollard
(she/her)
Lily
Brittany is very excited to be joining her first show with Arts in the Open. She graduated from Adams State University in 2018 and is very glad to see theatre getting back on its feet! She is no stranger to outdoor shows; last summer she played Huck in Campfire Theatre's production of An American Night's Dream. When she's not acting, she's working, writing, or hanging out at home with her orange tabby cat, Arthur. Brittany looks forward to seeing everyone on the trail!
Tara Spires
(she/her)
Queenie
Tara is thrilled to be making her Arts in the Open debut, in The Frog Princess. As a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, she had the opportunity to strengthen her artist roots doing live improv with ComedySportz San Jose, and waking the dead with The Medea Project: Theatre for Incarcerated Women. After graduating from Cal State East Bay with a BA in Acting, she moved to Portland, OR to attend the Portland Actors Conservatory. In 2017, Tara headed for the hills and landed in Colorado, where she received her MFA in Contemporary Performance, from Naropa University in Boulder. Other than a tremendous amount of student loan debt, Tara’s also been blessed with several shots at diving into the lives of different people, in different times, under different circumstances and is grateful for the opportunity to do it again. Much love to DJ and Marcus for dealing with all my idiosyncrasies and loving me anyway.
Quentin Toetz
(he/him)
Stevie/Frankie
This is Quentin Toetz’s first time performing with the Arts in the Open and he is excited to be a part of the cast of The Frog Princess. Quentin is a Denver based actor who moved here from Indiana in 2017. He specializes in improv work and works with hospitals and police as a crisis actor. He has also been in a number of small film projects both on camera and as a voice over talent. When he is not performing Quentin enjoys playing all kinds of games; including video games, board games, tabletop games, and card games.
Stevie Wise
(he/him)
Prince
Stevie is delighted to work with Arts in the Open for the second time. After performing his first show with this company, it's nice to return with a little more experience in his sixth professional show in Colorado.
Sierra Corbin
(she/her)
Stage Manager
Sierra is in her first year of undergrad at Metropolitan State University of Denver getting her BFA in applied theatre technology and design. She is so grateful for this opportunity to work outside and create theatre.
Patti Murtha
(she/her)
Director/Playwright
Patti is proud to return to Arts in the Open where previous shows she’s written include Cinderella and her Barely Godmother (playwright/director), Irish Tales Along the Trails, The Oddest Sea, Goldilocks, and Little Red (playwright/director). She’s performed in our productions of Sleepy Hollow, Alice in Wonderland, 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse, and will be in the upcoming Three Little Pigs VS. the Apocalypse. Patti studied theater at Mason Gross School of the Arts (Rutgers University) and The Maggie Flanigan Studio in NYC. She is a master ensemble theater teacher and in her spare time enjoys playing with mud. Much love to Damian.
